Danny and MariAnn's Story

  Dear Dave, Elena and the staff of Anastasia,

We want to thank you for all you have done for us through out our journey towards our marriage. Your help, kindness and friendship are very dear to us. For me, it all began as a way to help me forget my last failed relationship. I justified the expense of going on your tour, as a much needed vacation. I loved the idea of a men/women 50/300 ratio on your socials. I thought this would be a great vacation and with this odds I might meet some women. I never dreamed that I would meet someone special when I left home.
I sent a letter to Marianna with my last address, really. I did not think she would write me back and by March I still have not heard from her. I was almost ready to cancel my trip & get my money back, but then - Marianna had written to me!!! She gave me a permission to call her and with the help of Anastasia interpreter I arranged a 3-way phone call. Since then I called Marianna every week & sent her letters. Our relationship bloomed.
I went to Moscow in June and attended the first social with hesitation. I was doubtful that there would be 300 women present. But, my god, they were there! 40 men and 300 women! The women were very beautiful & really friendly. None of the rejection that we have to deal with here in the states! Interpreters were provided, romantic music was playing and everything was first class!
On the forth day of the tour I flew to Ekaterinburg where I finally met Marianna. We spent seven wonderful days together. I asked her to marry me, but she did not give me an answer right away. We were very much in love, but it was too big of a decision for her to make right away. I returned home and after some time she told me - yes.
I obtained a visa for her and also for her mother, so that her mother could attend our wedding. They arrived in March 97 and Marianna and I were married a week later.
I could not be more happy and I can only say that along the way I have made good friends with everyone at Anastasia. Your participation was a real help every step of the way.
Marianna and I are very happy and we hope everyone can find such happiness.
