Understanding the Search Options
The search page is divided into 3 sections. The top section sets the search
criteria to the following:
Catalogs
Catalogs are organized so they follow the print catalog. Each volume represents
the corresponding print
edition. Volume 66 is an Internet only edition, and comprises the latest
additions to Anastasia. By default, all
catalogs are selected and searched.
Height
This search option will set the upper and lower height limits of the search.
They can be used independently, as in "return all profiles where the girl
is taller than 5'0", or they can be used together to specify a range of
heights. Specifying "none" disables this as a criteria.
Weight
Just like height, this specifies ranges for the search. By leaving it blank,
you disable this as a search criteria.
Age
This also can be used to create a range in which to limit the responses of the
search, or can be left blank to disable age as a search criteria.
Keywords
Keywords will return results that meet the above criteria, and have the
specified words in the text areas of the profile. Areas of the database search
are occupation (or profession), city where the girl lives, personal information
and what she seeks in a mate. When used with other search criteria (such as age
or height), the keyword search can return very narrowed results.
The middle section of the browse page sets the date range to search. Typically,
you'll want to avoid setting date limits unless you're a regular visitor of
Anastasia. In that case, you can search for just the latest additions to the
catalogs by week, two weeks or the previous month. This option works in
conjunction with other search options, so by using height, weight,
age or keyword restrictions, the results returned will be limited
to within the date constraints.
Finally, the last section of the browse form allows you to review a known
profile by volume and ID. This section overrides all other search criteria, so
be sure to reset this to its default condition before you use other search
parameters.
